About Me

All eyes have been focused on fort worth, Texas for the past few years. As the steady growth of southern artists run rampant in the industry, funktown has finally birthed its true voice of lyricism…SUPA Dave. Born and raised in fort worth, TX and at the age of three migrated to Atlanta, Georiga a year later he found his self back in the funk were he was hood rasied in the streets of eastwood. With the influence of Juvenile, Jay-Z, Scarface, Twista, UGK, Twisted Black, 8Ball & MJG, DJ Screw, and 2Pac; SUPA later at the age of 16 began writing rhymes, hoping to one day follow in the foot steps of these Hip-Hop legends. Supa Dave came out with his first ablum "GrindMode" which sold 2,000 copys in 2005, he know he was on to somthing and from that point on been on it every since with his hood anthem "That's Y" its moves any crowd! With songs and lyrics that capture the real essence of street life from a true hustler’s perspective; listeners will understand why Supa needs no gimmick to hold his attention. This your boy Supa the cadillac scooper, and i would like to thank u for stoppin' by, showin luv, or whatever brings u to myspace. as u know im doin this music thing ,but, its more to me than just music, i grow up in this, its been around me 24/7. so why not express myself. u know we live to die and inbetween that is a life that my end at any moment so why not live it until the end. do or try to do every thang u always wanted to do, cause u may not get a chance to do it later on. i grow up in the early 80's which to me was like growin up in the late 70's early 90's and if u readin' me right u get what im sayin. To me, it was a time were music was growin in all directions back then and it still growin and liven to this day. Nas sad said hip hop is dead well it may been on life support but never dead. with me sayin that do like i do and dont just listen, but Listen, to the words, to the beat. feel it, live it, like it, love it, touch it, experience it. i was born and raised in Fort worth, TX a.k.a. FUNKY TOWN. And grownin up here wasn't all that bad, but there's one thang i found out when i was grown up and that theres a lot of elements as well as people that will try and to stop whatever u have goin or that will try to get in your way and stop you from achieving them goals, these dreams that we all have and share. But why let them get the best of you? like Kat said "Haters are here for a reasien. let'em do there job's." gone and keep it locked though cause imma show u some cool shit u. Right now im 27, and i've let a lot of things get in my way, but, say best believe i didnt let them things stop me completely. im still standin, walkin, talken, listen, breathin, thinkin, liven and every day i wake up i thank the man above and i advise u do the say cause u know what we aint promised to here. M.O.B. on mind DONT LET THIS HoES BE YOUR DOWNFALL thats real talk. a bitch well drain you til' u aint shit then go on to the next nicca, i've seen it for myself, they at no good, but dont get me grown they aint all like that. But, that is y i stack my shit and put it away lock that shit up in a vault some where and watch that shit grow. Say this started off as a dream you know. I was 16 years old and Iven been on it every since grinding on the low when i was a lil nikka, i knew were i belonged and that was in this music game. Growin' up hustlin' in the same streets that raised me. i would just sit back and look and listen to my surroundings and do my thang. started maken beats when i was about 22 but lost my ear and skills for beat maken so i started rhymin until i drop my first song in the end of 2002 as the name BIG CHIEF - The intro. Which i rapped over a Ashanti beat which also was a Scareface beat. which from there started my hobby for rappin soon after started mixin, choppin' and screwin my own mixes. then at the middle of 2003 i changed my name again to Supa Dave. and around that time i caught my first case bounce back from that then nine month later back doored a nother case. and once again i bounced back from that like oooah! now, two charges later im still on mind, and yea i fucked up but say im still poppin robber bands, if u catch me next time i'll tell u the rest. were i got my stage name was from the hood, my peeps would be like, yea, you always stunten doin all those stunt with your stuntin' ass and shit one day somebody was like is that Dave up there doin that stuntin' shit on Miller who he think he is SupaDave and thats how i was Born. i've been kickin up dust in the streets of EastWood every since my younger days on kellis block. EW thats my hood imma be here reppin' til im dead and gone. and i gotta give my props to my lil homie Lyno cause he sprinkled me with the game i know about this music shit and it made me to the nigga u see before you without that game and my street smarts i dont know were i would be or what i be doin' probable some kick doe type shit but say its like we're two nigga in the hood with a dream and say you'll see what a nigga is talken bate stay up cause you know we are.
