As I explore from one day to the next, I realize how intense life is. With all the stimuli overloading and overwhelming my senses, it can be a bit challenging to stay focused on what's important. It's entirely too easy to get distracted and to get caught up in a story. For me, the importance in my life is being kind, sharing love, and seeking for peace. The Dalai Lama states, "Kind and love, a real sense of brotherhood and sisterhood, these are very precious. They make community possible and thus are crucial in society." The first two components in "Alyssa's importances of life" are essential to practice in order to experience peace. I am a soul seeker, and what I've found in my explorations is that we are all part of the same vast ocean, waving differently. We are all peace. We are all love. We are all one. I am just a reflection of you. Some people will hate me and others will love me. I am You.
