Jack Cofer and Ondine Quinn

About Me

In the Spring of '06 Jack Cofer (then, Tina Cofer) began to build a name in Lexington, KY with an indie/folk act souly based around a guitar and simple vocals usually addressing the pains of lost love. By the Spring of '07 Tina met Ondine Quinn, a community organizer and violinist. Ondine began writing new parts to old songs while the two fashioned a brand new style of music between each other with ghostly melodies, percussive delivery and lyrics more centered around social climate and gender issues. In the Summer of '07 Tina and Ondine briefly joined the reunion of infamous Lexington jamcore group, Mom Said Go! of which Tina had been an original member. There, they met Seith Miller, who when Ondine and Tina left the group, followed suit and the three formed a new band, Spooky Qs.Now known as Jack Cofer and Ondine Quinn, the pair are dedicated to their life together as well as their work with Spooky Qs. In the short time the two performed their acoustic act, they ran the gamet of Lexington shows playing from small touring hardcore acts and the DIY scene to opening for Bitch and The Exciting Conclusion at The Dame. You can get in touch with them through the Spooky Qs page.
