Myspace Contact TablesCarlos Gonzalez was born on May 24th 1972 in Mexico City. At the age of 17 he decided to start making music and he started his career as a drummer in a metal-band called “Dashboard” in 1989. They recorded an album in 1992 with the title “1900”. After this experience he formed part of several other rock- and jazz bands. It’s when the band “X Voo-Doo” got formed when he met Carlos Siliceo (Chak) and not much after they decided to start experimenting with electronical music-production and so Sharigrama was born. Their first performance at a big festival, which was the Infinity Festival, was a big success and from their the career lifted off. They released their first album “Mexican Mushroom” went to Brasil twice and now, as Sharigrama is continued as Vampix’ solo-project, there have also been 18 releases on different compilations. He visited Israel and played at most of the major Mexican festivals. For the creation of his music Carlos uses Logic Audio and Cubase. He also gives classes of music production and audio engineering, private and in schools. Recently Carlos has also started new projects: Sharigrama minimal, and another one in which he produces a nu-rave sound.
