Dom and Liam Newton are unrelated, and became friends at school, at the ripe age of 6 years old. After not really talking to each other for 11 years, their frienship soon blossemed while auditioning for a show at school 'Grease - By Salt Grammar School' after being convinced to do it by good friend Cha Haley.
After being cast as Danny (Dom) and Keniky (Liam), the friendship went from strengh to strengh. The boys have alot to be grateful for, and thank Charlotte, and Grease Producer Richard Roevbuck/Haigue for their persuasion and input! It was while practicing songs for the show, and having a general lark about, they discovered a shared passion in 'swing' music. The two began singing famous songs such as: 'aint that a kick in the head' and 'Well did you evah' and discovered they had a real talent for singing swing hits.So now, we introduce you to NEWTON, a big band duo, singing swing hits, and sneaking in an original song or two! Please enjoy the first recorded track 'Me, I'm his shadow' more trcks will soon follow, once the lazy Bums get round to recording more tunes.Plans for a Christmas compilation are in progress....so keep your ears peeled!
