Me and my wife both go to the Institute for Global Outreach Developments, it is a missionary training school in Nashville, Tennessee. We feel that the Lord has called us to be missionaries in Africa and that we need to receive lots of training prior to going. Without this time of preparation our time in Africa would not be as productive or permanent as it will be because of our continued education. We are both learning so much at school!! It is overwhelming some of the things I am learning about the God and his character. It is teaching me how to look at the world differently!!! Praise God!!! The more of God's Word I learn the more I love people, I can't help but love people these days, I am starting to see people for who they are and not necessarily what they do. I am learning that in order to change the world one must embrace each moment of their life and live it to the fullest, that life is full of uncertainties and surprises so we must learn to roll with them and learn from them, I am learning that the message of Jesus is GOOD NEWS for the poor!!! I pray that God teaches me his character so that I can have my mind and heart transformed!! I am learning what it means to surrender everyday and not just sometimes and through doing so being obedient to God's voice!! I am excited about living life and not knowing what to expect from it. I am excited about working hard and giving myself for others. I am excited about trusting God and placing my faith nowhere but in him. I am excited about Africa and the lives God is going to use my family to touch. I am excited about learning God's Word and pouring it into those with no hope. I am excited about life!!! Thank you Lord for giving me a passion to love you and serve others!!! Please continue to grow that passion in my heart and never let me forget about my brothers and sisters around the world who go without each day, help me to remember them and pray for them!!!
