My Life
Hi guys, I'm Victor V.G., also known as Dj Vik (it's my nickname). I was born the 17th of March 1993, so I'm 16. I live in France, in a city called Strasbourg, this is just next to Germany. I think this place is really cool, because there's a lot of good things to do, such as go shopping in malls or go dancing in the clubs. There's actually a lot of good clubs in my area. I'm in a High School, I learn three foreign languages (English, German and Spanish) and I study Economy. I often play tennis with my friends, when I have time.
I discovered music when I was like six years old. I fell in love with the first and then the second album of the Daft Punk, the best band ever, in my opinion. A few months later, I discovered Eiffel 65 and Daddy Dj. I think I began producing simply because I wanted to do the same as my favourite groups/bands: I wanted to create my music. So, (at the time, I was 11 or 12) I started to create some tracks with the software MAGIX Music Maker. This wasn't good, neither was the software. That's why I produce music with the software Fruity Loops Studio. I use also some VST and VSTi.
Now, I think I can say that I've come a long way, but I know for sure that my music isn't perfect at all. I thank by the way all the persons who helped me, such as Lorya (who told me what a kick was), Cj Mkh (he learnt me so many things), Dj THT and jWEb (they learnt me how to master a track), Ekowraith (who helped me and gave me advices so many time). There's a lot of other pupils that I have to quote...
