DiAmorte - Theatre of the Vampire

-BIOGRAPHY-
DiAmorte’ is a theatrical based group that brings the fantasy of the past ages and a world of darkness to the stage. Inspired by the works and poetry of Drake, DiAmorte’ tells a tale of love, loss, tragedy, and vengeance set to the sounds of savage orchestral melodies and dark metal arrangements. What greatly distinguishes the music of DiAmorte' apart from the classic gothic genre is the depth of arrangment in the orchestral parts. Keeping with the tradition of old world orchestral compositions, a vast number of DiAmorte's songs contain over twenty individual symphonic parts, brought together to bring back the feeling of a poweriful orchestral symphonic experience. This, combined with furious and complex melodic and rhythmatic guitars, has made for very poweriful pieces.
The music sets the atmosphere while viewers experience a time lost with a Victorian waltz, elaborate background set, a duel of swordsman with live steel, grand processions set to massive orchestral interludes, and a gothic romance the unfolds before your eyes. With a congregation of actors and actresses, elaborate lighting and special effects, this show is truly a memorable experience as well as journey into the imagination. -THE MEMBERS OF THE DIAMORTE' CONGREGATION-
Drake Mefestta is the lead composer of all orchestral and symphonic scores and preforms theatrical keyboard work from a throne on stage. His operically trained deep voice gives the dark undertones to the music as well as bringing to life the stories within the music. More than twenty individual orchestral parts are written and recorded on an average composition, giving the experience of a full orchestra for the live performances.
Former guitarist turn drummer in the late 90's Rick Hernandez has brings the complex rhythms, dramatic accents, and thunderous percussions to DiAmorte’ Drawing influnces from Death, Black and, Progressive Metal. As a guitarist, his inspirations came from Michael Portnoy of Dream Theater, Sean, Reinart of Cynic, and Flo Mounier of Cryptosy. In recent years he has lent his talents to death and folk metal bands, which has only help to diversify his playing abilities. Rick’s drumming and dramatic percussion is the pulse of the orchestral sounds and melodic guitars, though his style, technique, and complex timing can stand on it’s own.
