Tunesmiths Cafe - Radio is broadcast from Radio Fremantle, 153 Rockingham Road, Hamilton Hill, Perth, Western Australia, 6163. (08) 9494 2100.
Radio Fremantle 107.9 FM Community Radio
In general, this program showcases songs, songwriters, and the 6 "M's" of music: musicianship, melody, vocals, lyricism, meaning, and emotion. Our vision is in the direction of better and more meaningful music.
Tunesmiths Cafe Radio is a music program and this myspace is a communication system for those interested in an easier style of music, singer/songwriters, and live performance.
I attempt to apply a genre value system to gauge artists, and also to 'friends' requests - it is unworkable to be all-encompassing.
This program is not into a 'friends' numbers-game, so folks: please don't send a 'friends' request if you are into metal, psychedelic, electronic, rap, pap, hip-hop, punk, funk, boom-bang, raspy, nasty, noise, or anything deafening or non-melodic, etc. I just can't be true to all.
Makk Eenhoorn - producer/presenter, songwriter, muso.
Listen on-line via the Radio Fremantle web site.
Listen to the last program currently listed at 11:00, but remember the archives are only available for a week. If John Geddes is in the chair for that time slot - Tunesmioths IS NOT the same program presented my ME- it is what ever John Geddes decides. Also, be aware that sometimes the archives don't function properly. Refer to the calender please.
Tunesmiths Cafe - Writers at Rosie O'Grady's Songwriters and their songs Monday Nights, in the flesh from 7:30 pm. Come on down to Freo, pull up a chair, and have a listen.
Live music...being enjoyed somewhere near you.
Live Performances
Live segment performances now air very occasionally. Historically we presented 3 years of live studio performances, but circumstance and other issues have dictated a change of emphasis.
So now that Tunesmiths Cafe - Writers at Rosie's is kicking into gear there is less emphasis on performance in the studio. You are invited to play by making contact for a session there - follow the link or send a message here at myspace.

My Interests

Tunesmiths Cafe - Writers at Rosie's
A gathering of tunesmiths, friends, and those interested, for the showcasing of songs, performance, feedback, and entertainment, and to build on the art of songwriting.
The objective is the perfection of songwriting, performance, entertaining, and to give listeners a unique experience.
One important issue is to build a good audience beyond just songwriters alone. Building a base of interested people is far more important, for they are the ones who know what they like.
