the smell of unset jelly, when a downlight flickers and crackles, oil pastel as it crumbles in my fingers, that moment the fan moves past and brushes my face, putting pva on my skin to let it dry and peel it off, playing with blades of grass, looking at the sun for too long, walking with a tune, the first drop of water in a cold shower on a hot day, hugs, long conversations, the crackle of old records, finding new outlets in life, vino, a couple of those recreational pleasantries, meeting new and exciting people, long walks, sunrises on hilltops with good friends, dying my hair funny colours, falling asleep to rain.
