I listen to most styles of music from metal, through jazz, classical, well produced dance music... anything that ticks my box.... predomenantly guitar based stuff.
I've been playing bass for about 7 or 8 years and guitar for about 15. (Dam- I should be better than this by now!!) I've been in a few bands in the past few years, enjoyed a taster of success, played some wicked gigs and met some sound people along the way and am currently playing bass and backing vocals for metal band Whisper in The Riot. Come and see a gig if you can!!! I love playing live. Playing live = gooning around on stage making a lot of noise = GOOD!!MMMMMM...OUNTAINSQuite a relatively new interest for me. I've always been a bit of a nature boy, enjoying getting out into the country, but recently discovered the scale of mountians. They're really pretty dam big! There's something quite belittling, but also empowering about being halfway up 1000m of rock thats been there for what seems like forever.
I've climbed Snowdon twice this year, once in March and once in August, and Scafell Pike in October. I was supposed to climb Ben Nevis in October, but the weather turned before I had a chance to get there... I don't have the gear to face -16C windchill and 5ft of snow!!! These 3 mountains (the highest in Wales, England and Scotland respectively) make up the targets for the 3 peaks challenge (climb all 3 in 24hrs), which I'm training to do late June '07.
The environment can be breath takingly beautiful, challenging, hostile, awe inspiring all at the same time, and its got me hooked!! I'm a pretty keen photographer (please check out my pics and comment), and when the weather permits, I get trigger happy in the mountains.MMMMMM...EATMmmmm. STEAK.Your results:
