Just a Normal Person

About Me

I am ... me. I love having fun, but balance it out well with a deeper, more-serious side. Otherwise, I'm a big fan of cities and city life, rock and roll as well as classical, blues, international culture and history.Huge film fan, love cooking but usually just do it for other people. Absolutely honest and tactful. LDS RM (LA), originally from Washington, DC. Served California Los Angeles LDS mission 02-03, and just got back to Utah after a summer in Manhattan.

My Interests

Footlights, BYU's Original Music and Performance Club- Vice President. I love art galleries, genealogy, architecture, history, films, marketing/advertising/PR, and sociology.

I'd like to meet:

I want to associate with others who have the same ideals and beliefs that I do, and as for dating I want a guy with the same beliefs, same standards, and goals in life. I want a guy whose testimony of Christ is strong, and someone that is a gentleman, but not a prude. A guy who knows what he wants and is willing to go for it is good, so long as what he wants is morally and legally in conjunction with the teachings of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. No, I don't want Superman. I just want a good, decent guy who wants a lady who will do her best to make him happy, but values God first.

Music:

I like older music from the 70's, 90's pop, jazz, blues, Norah Jones-esque music, and anything that makes me happy.

Movies:

Watch a lot of movies, PG-13 and under.

Books:

Unto Every Nation, Book of Mormon, Tuesdays with Morrie, The Johnstown Flood, The Book of Warning Labels

Heroes:

Christ, Mom, and Grandma--Anyone that tries hard to do what's right.

Wind Down, Sails Down

Because time is precious

There's nothing in the world like warping someone's mind, including my own

Sometimes I wonder whether or not all this heyday and hullaballoo is really worth all the hassle, and then I go to sleep and wake up and am just as enthused about it all over again.  Lately, my ...
