Your blue angelic eyes just may be your disquise. They don't work on me.

About Me

Ah, what to say, what to say... my 'bio' has been the same for a while, so I thought it'd be time for a change. Lets see... I'm random, and especially so under the influence of coffee. Give me a cup of coffee and suddenly I can talk a mile a minute about nothing or everything, depending on my surroundings. Kinda like an epsiode of Seinfeld, I can have a long conversation about nothing important to the world. Obviously, I've been drinking coffee already today. Ooh, look, a monkey... Wine is my alchoholic vice. Other than that, I dont drink much. Except for Jello Shots in the presence of a certain twin boy I adore :) Music rocks my world. If the artist is unique and sounds good, I'll give 'em a listen. Supporting local music is fun. Right now, I'm in adoration of a local rock band called Ambertone. Check them out. I went to massage school soon after high school and very much enjoy being a therapist. I relax for a living at the Canyon Ranch Spa here in Kissimmee and feel extremely blessed to be a positive person in someones day. After I survived being hit by a drunk driver, I made a deal with God that my life would be worth saving. I think I'm doing an ok job :) I like art and creative people. Comedians are brilliant to me! A sense of humor is by far the best gift someone can have. I don't understand pessimistic people. I think positivity attracts more opportunity and the opposite is true of negativity. Its a type of magnet effect. Laughter and optimism has been my favorite medicine thus far. The American medical system annoys me. I'd much rather live the natural healing kind of life that Oriental medicine is based on. I don't hold back how I feel and I'm sorry if that makes you mad. Actually, I'm not sorry. I am who I am and if you don't like it, that's too bad. I most likely wont like you, either...I was hit by a drunk driver and now I'm...

I'd like to meet:

Cool people.... We gotta stick together, ya know? LoL just kidding. I just want to meet people I can hang with and enjoy life with. It would be a plus to meet people who know how to enjoy laughing- I enjoy being around positive people:)

Music:

I've stumbled apon a few new bands as of late and I realized that my list on here had the potential to be a mile long. So... I just thought I'd list my absolute favorite musicians that have made a differance in my life or I just really like. I listen to anything that sounds good in any era of music except hip hop. I have found very few 'rappers' that I like. I challenge ANYONE to find me a hip hop artist that I may like. If I like it, you win something...Heehee So, here are some of my favorite bands/ musicians: Blessid Union of Souls, JIMMY BUFFETT, Snow Patrol the Beatles, Elton John, Gavin DeGraw, DMB, James Blunt.... the list goes on for a while longer. I'm also a big supporter of local music. Find a local band to support. All those well known bands you like had to start somewhere, so help make those local bands the next big thing...

Come check us out ! this local, Orlando band AMBERTONE pretty much kicks ass to no end! So, check them out punks!!

Movies:

Fried Green Tomatoes, Princess Bride, Robin Hood: Men in Tights, SpaceBalls, Silent Movie(pretty much anything from Mel Brooks!!), Five People You Meet in Heaven, Patch Adams, Night Listener

Television:

I dont watch tv much. I dont really have the urge, to tell ya the truth. But I do admit to adoring Young and the Restless and being addicted to Ghost Hunters. The later I own on dvd, so I spend quiet nights at home watching that and then have nightmares. Vicious cycle, really...

Books:

Princess Bride revised by William Goldman(I have yet to read the original by S. Morgenstern due to its rarity and length), Tuesdays with Morrie and 5 People you Meet in Heaven by Mitch Albom, Fried Green Tomatoes by Fannie Flagg

Heroes:

Mom and Dad, for sure, for being strong and faithful enough to leave our homestate to move somewhere we didnt know anyone and creating a life of their own without negative influences of other parts of our family. I am now at a point where I am realizing how it is to start from nothing and WORK my way to get what I want from life and I wouldnt have known what that was like if my parents didnt go through the same thing.

My Blog

Thank God for good friends and wine!
