About Me

Crucial Fix "www.myspace.com/cfix"8/09 Crucial Fix has found a guitar player that's been laying around with us for five years!!!! Anyone who knows us knows Greg and we are fried on both sides that he's with us adding fat guitar from skinny hips. With none of the anticipated awkwardness, he stepped in and it's like he's been here the whole time...mostly because he has been. With the line-up finally complete, we will schedule our recording and performance calander which I hope will bring performance dates by October and hopefully release the New Album locally just in time for Christmas.Crucial Fix found a drummer in June! Since the loss of Beev to the US AirForce..."Go Beev!"...and after trying for many months and playing with many great Tampa Bay drummers, Stu Garrett joined the band this week and brings a welcome familiarity with many styles and the talent that we need to continue making music that we are excited about! We hope to be hitting local clubs again as early as September and maybe a party or two on the way. We're recording almost daily and preparing for some welcome attention from some well meaning folks to discuss aspects of our future that we hope will help us reach more people. I hope our music encourages people through hardship, or helps them express themselves. That's what it does for me and that's usually where my focus is. Hells Half Acre is no more.... The band dissolved with Tim's departure late in May followed by everyone including myself apparently not caring enough to continue. Being in a cover band is hard ya'll! It's fun alot of the time but it's work too and working for free in this economy isn't feasible so...here's a few blasts from the recent past... The first video below is Hells Half Acre covering Savatage's "Hall of the Mountain King", performed at Gasoline Alley on April 9th for the 98 Rock sponsored 25th Anniversary of Gasoline Alley with special guests Kalus, Unspoken and Kronik Dysorder. The Second video is a Crucial Fix performance of our original song, "Displaced" from a show in 05 at the now defunct Boomerz Nite Club. The third video is Hells Half Acre performing Pantera's "Cemetary Gates for Gasoline Alley's Black Friday Bash in 09.All Hells Half Acre video's were shot exclusively and awesomely by our good friend Dean Cox of D.T.V and he can be contacted for your video production at http://www.myspace.com/deancvideodude H.H.A.GA
