NEHEMIAH -------------------The preparation for my nephew brought our families close,I think I was the one excited the most.We were making plans left and right,Wildly guessing his weight and height.Just counting the weeks until he comes out,Something had gone the wrong route.Baby put mama in the hospital,man, what something can do when it's so little.At 23 weeks mama was set to bed rest,To begin what seemed to be a long quest.Day after day mama stayed in the same position,Talking to 2 doctors and 1 physician.They were saying that baby wanted out,Everyone was in doubt.We all knew it wasn't time for baby's arrival,Certain that it was crucial to baby's survival.Nehemiah was slipping more and more,Mama just tried to ignore.But Miah wanted out,So he came without making Mama shout.On Sept. 24, 2005 Nehemiah Kelelani Sala slipped into the world,Still-born but beautifully curled.Nehemiah being strong and bold,His life in heaven will now unfold. ~ by Me (im proud of this poem..lol)
