About Me

Linda Dummars was born to sing! Without the ability to enlighten the hearts and minds of others through song, life for her would take on new meaning. This remarkable mezzo soprano, whose phenomenal voice range enables her to also sing alto and tenor, was born in Detroit, Michigan but raised in Greenville, Alabama. Linda recently moved from Columbia, SC where she served as the Minister of Music (director, musician, P/W leader) for 4 years under the leadership of Bishop Vincent Collins, Agape Worship Center COG. A recent promotion on her "day job" has re-located Linda to Woodbridge, VA. where God is expected to open even more doors. This is the year of the open door!!!!!Linda received formal vocal and acting instruction while on a full music scholarship with Lurleen B. Wallace College, Andalusia, AL. Afterwards, Linda joined the US Army where she embraced the opportunity to amaze such audiences, including MG Abraham Turner and Retired General Colin Powell, at various military functions. Linda has performed in numerous showcases, weddings, conferences, churches and special functions both within the United States and abroad.A popular vocalist for various community events, Linda was known as the “voice” of Fort Jackson, SC, where she was called on time and time again to render her passionate and powerful rendition of the “Star Spangled Banner.” She has also performed at The National Faces Going Places Showcase in Myrtle Beach, SC for the past (3) years where she has captured the heart and the eyes of many entertainment executives.Artists worked, performed with and opened for, include: Morris Pleasure, Al Jarreau, Cherie Marie, Hootie and the Blowfish, Patrick Davis, Sheldon Reynolds, James Bignon, Kelvin Pleasent.....and the list will continue to grow!!! To God be the Glory! In addition to accepting the call to sing and act, she also composes and arranges her own songs, plays piano and provides vocal coaching. It’s obvious to all who hear and see her that the music ministry is truly where her passion lies. Linda is absolutely convinced and determined that this is the time to allow her light to shine and there is absolutely no mountain too high for her to climb.
