About Me

I'm Adam Broud, and I am FINALLY going on my mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I've looked forward to this for so long. I've felt Heavenly Father's effect on my life for all of my life and I can not wait to share His message of the restored gospel here on this Earth with all the people whom I come in contact with while in Brazil I know The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the true church that is lead by Christ Himself and I'm so thankful for the blessing in my life of being allowed to be an active part in the building up of my Father in Heaven's kingdom. If anyone wants to write me whilst i'm in Brazil, here's the info.
So I (Adam Broud) will be in Brazil starting on the 21st of November. These are the addresses where you can send letters and such when I'm gone.
For the first 62 days of my mission (so until January 22nd) I will be in the Brazil Missionary Training Center learning Portuguese and all about Brazil and such. If you write me within that time, send all letters to:
Elder Adam Erroll Broud

If whilst I'm midst my Brazilian Brothern and Sisters you plan on sending me a package of sorts after Jan. 22nd (packages include anything that isn't a document, pictures included unless you make a paper copy of the picture and than you can send the paper copy of the picture to the regular mailing address) you can send those to:

My Interests

skateboarding, snowboarding, swing dancing, tap dancing, tacos, juice, tire swings, merry-go-rounds, taking cardboard cars through the taco bell drive thru, hiking, withams, sneezing, reading, playing, fountain swimming, four leaf clover hunting, laughing, acting, singing, fireworks, playing drums, theology, poetry, psychology, music, human nature, and this big belief that things are suppose to be a certain way but people continually are unsure of where the source of that feeling comes from.

I'd like to meet:

This is basically the greatest music video ever. The ghost choir is my favourite.

Music:

I listen to a lot of different types of music. I loooove music, I play a bunch of instruments and love writing it too. I also love to dance and I think it really does go hand in hand with music. Genres I listen to include, variations of Indie mostly, a lot of reggea, ska, classical, variations of rock, baroque pop, a little country, some rap, some techno but usually only when mixed with other genres, jazz, trip-hop, swing, acid jazz, rap but usually lesser known stuff, i love folk and variations of it like freak folk, basically i like music that takes talent whether its in the lyrics or in the instrumentals. I like music that makes me feel good, I like music that matches exactly what's going on in my life at the moment, and I especially like danceable type beats.

I think I'm missing quite a few. Oh and I didn't list the ones I didn't like.

Movies:

I like a lot of documentarys. Most movies are just one big waste of time in my opinion. Think of all the other things you could do in two and a half hours.

Television:

TV is lame. I watch the news and I watch documentaries, but I don't even watch those sometimes because I get tired of the spin that are always placed on those stories. The news is just entertainment anyway and I think is helping a downward spiral motion of our society. TV is a plauge and it saddens me that its often times viewed as an essential, I mean even in the dirtiest hotels they put a tv in every room, what's up with that?

Books:

The Bible, The Book of Mormon, Doctrine and Covenets, The Pearl of Great Price, A Marvelous Work and a Wonder, How Wide the Divide, a lot of theology books really, The Princess Bride, The Count of Monte Cristo, HARRY POTTER!, I love C.S. Lewis, I read a lot of plays, a lot of books on theology, and books deemed "classics" by most. I don't read too much fiction to tell you the truth

Heroes:

I've got 'em
