Jayne Doe

Jayne doe consists of Kel (vocals/lead guitar) Kendra (piano/synth) Zac (drums).Jayne doe is a three piece band from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Kel, the bands songwriter, states, "As a band we consider our music to be indie/Alternative/electronic rock. We would like to think of it as something you have never heard, but would want to hear." Jayne doe has been recently featured afterellen.com, as well as, interviewed with the MTV/Logo at Paramount Plaza (She said What?/episode 12) in New York City. Jayne doe's song SOLACE IN SOMBER was chosen to be featured on the Illumina Records Mid West Compilation Album. (Aug 2007) The album consists of 20 bands from the Mid West, US., and is promoting the prevention of drunk driving. Some of Jayne doe's influences include: the Deftones, the Cure, Placebo, Muse and Sparta, but Jayne doe brings its own unique philosophy to the genre connecting with their audience on many dynamic levels. The bands emotional vocals, classical style piano, and heavy undertones are a few of the things that seperate them from other bands.
