hey guys we are the nitwits. the band first started out with ed, eric, and some other guitarist...shane. We eventually picked up gio, but had problems with the orig. guitarist...so he left (not by choice...haha, j/k...but he did leave) then in mid of 06, we picked up daniel, playing even more greater stuff with his newer, tricked out tunes. After about 8 months, daniel went back to columbia, on a short hand notice, to continue playing with his original band called Darma. Because we needed a another guitarist, giovanni continued playing lead guitarist, and about a week before daniel left, we began practicing with our new guitarist, Ilce, backing up on guitar and adding a new ska sound that the band had never experienced before. in 08, after going back and forth with different horn players, we found two that were commited (nikko) playing on the trumpet, and (willie) playing on the sax. this band over the years has formed into a family that is fucking commited to this. we continue to play as many shows as possible, if its the valley or the l.a area, and we continue doing what we love to do. we try to influence as many people, and stress how important it is to suppourt their scenes. do whatever you can to keep this movement alive!THE KNITTING FACTORY.(BATTLE OF THE BANDS)SKA WARS 08
