If you don't know, read on to find how you can claim your place in Heaven !!!Salvation is for any who ask!The best thing about salvation is that you get to spend eternity with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!!! The next best thing about salvation is that it is FREE! Lets look at how you can know for sure you are going to spend eternity in Heaven.First we have to understand why we need to be saved. The little three lettered word, Sin is the reason. What is sin? Sin is disobeying God's rules and these rules are given to us in the Bible. In today's world we are taught, conditioned, even forced to accept many things that God has told us are sins. Even if you have never opened a Bible you can sense right from wrong. In giving us this sense of right or wrong, God has proven in another way His existence. Without God there is no right or wrong! Can you see the devil's plan implemented through man defining sin?Romans 3:10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;Before Adam and Eve disobeyed God the world was perfect and there was no death. Gods punishment for sin is death. Because you are a sinner you are condemned to death.Romans 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death;Not only do you suffer a physical death but a second death . This death leaves you alone, eternally separated from God in Hell.Hebrews 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:Revelations 20:13,14,15 and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.What hope does this leave us? Under the law given in the Old Testament, a blood sacrifice was given as payment for sin.Leviticus 17:11 For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.We no longer live under the Old Testament Law but in the Age of Grace. This is because God's love for us is so great that He sent His only begotten Son to pay our sin debt for us! Jesus took all the sin of the world upon Himself and shed His blood on the cross at Calvary. Jesus died in our place and with His blood He paid our sin debt!Hebrews 9:22 And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.I John 3:5 And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.II Corinthians 5:21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.There are so many misconceptions on how to get to Heaven. (All Satan's doing.) Some of the common beliefs are entry to heaven by:1. good works2. paid entry3. living a clean life4. luck of the drawIf people would only stop to think about how great God is, they would see how silly theseideas are. God created us and everything around us. I am sure He made things we don'teven know exist. He gave us our lives. What can we ,with works, give to God? Healready owns everything. He made us as complex beings, with the power to feel, tolove, and to make choices. He could have created us as subservient worshipers, but Godwanted our love to be freely given. Given the choice, would you rather be loved by freewill, or by coercion? God loves us so much that He sent His Son to die for us. Myfriend, the most heartfelt love of your life should be for Him.The "ONLY" way to Heaven is found in a series of gifts !Ephesians 2:8,9 for by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.1.The gift of your life, given to you by God2.The gift of grace.Romans 5:15 For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.3.The gift of the Blood of Jesus.Ephesians 1:7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;4. The gift of Salvation, paid for by the Blood of Christ.1 John 5:13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.3.The gift of your life, freely given by you to God.How do you accept His gift of salvation?It's easy!!!1. Repentance. (This is understanding that you are a sinner and admitting it to God.)Acts 17:30 And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:2..Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and the acceptance of Him as your Savior.Acts 16:30,31 Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved,3.Telling these things to God. (This is the only time God will hear a prayer from the unsaved.)An example of a simple Prayer for Salvation. Dear God I realize that I am a sinner and I believe that Jesusgave His life to pay for my sins. I believe that God sent His Sonto shed his Blood to pay my sin debt, that he went to the graveand was resurrected for me. Father, I would like to give my lifeto You. Please come into my heart and save me.
