About Me

(last updated: 06/19/07)
First and foremost...for lack of a better explanation, music is my life: I'm a musician, song-writer, and producer. I'm currently dedicatedly involved in three projects: Gainesville, FL-based Secrets She Kept , Clearwater, FL-based Lunar Reign , and my solo-project (based out of the boondocks in which I dwell): Torched Ebony Skies (profile + info to come later).

Instruments: Guitar is my main/default instrument of study and my Ibanez RG7420BP is my sonic assault weapon of choice.
Furthermore I also play a bit of both bass and synth (more "keyboard" than piano).
I sing for fun, but I just need to get over the self-consciousness in order to apply clean/melodic vox - in the meanwhile, I use the typical "metal" aesthetic of...well, what some may call screaming.
I also can moderately play the Australian non-chromatic woodwind, the didgeridoo.
And as if it's much talent at all, I also tediously play drum programming.
In the future I hope, if not plan, to study numerous instruments (namely the piano, naturally) + continue building onto my home studio.

Live & Touring: As a live musician through Secrets She Kept since joining in June 2005, I have thus far performed 27 shows, 10 of them being out of my home state of Florida and we've "mini-toured" (2-5 shows/tour) some four times, visiting such places like New York City and New Orleans on the way.

We played with most notably:
Dark Funeral, Enslaved, 1349, Goatwhore, Nachtmystium, Averse Sefira, Montrosity, Diabolic, Sinister, The Chasm.

Some (out-of-state) areas worthy of mention we've played @:
Minneapolis-MN, Houston-TX, San Antonio-TX, Laredo-TX, Charlotte-NC, Virginia Beach-VA, Akron-OH, Carlstadt-NJ.
Other Things: I'm a freelance photographer, graphic artist, poet (of sorts), + webmaster (I have my own 'creative' web site in the works). Uhhh...I freakin LOVE to travel, am going to/drifting through college (currently "liberal studies"...bleh), and seek humor in everything, even in myself.
...And besides that, it's useless to explain myself any further on Myspace. The rest can come later through other forms of proper and less pretentious discourse.
