summer 2005? we get the bright idea to go to o'ahu, playing three originals and an hour of covers under the name "rockers."sometime later: we get a brighter idea to go back to o'ahu, this time playing all originals. five days, five gigs. ktuh live gets recorded.later still: the ktuh recording gets distributed wide for free. kapono leaves the band, ekona moves from keys to bass, star puts the axe down and takes over keys.some more later: kihei joins the band, then promptly joins halealoha in jail. kihei gets out first, but not before we get renamed "ai pohaku."earlier than now but still later than before: more originals, more o'ahu gigs, backing gigs, add grant on percussion.couple a months ago: start the first official album...
