I'll see you at the crossroads. Hallelujah, I'm comin' home!

About Me

My name is Chris, I'm an observer. Writing is my niche and I do it often. Perhaps you'll catch me in a late night diner sometime writing an article, lyrics, or just a simple poem. I believe that positivity is worth the effort. Making fun of people is hit or miss, but laughing at life is essential. To me, existence is a canvas I wish to paint with an infinite pallette of experiences. I accept anyone who wants to be my friend except assholes, racists, and people who think they know what Zen is by buying into it's retail value. That may make me out to be an elitist, but honestly, if we don't get along in some way why waste eachother's time? I'm not affraid to be sensitive, and I'm not affraid to hold my own. I come off as very intimidating, but am actually a peaceful person who is easy to talk to. I prefer to listen first and speak second.............. Also, I write and direct independant films, why, because if I didn't someone else would. Oh and I stongly support Chicago hockey, toughest around.
Politics are a game I dabble in. Don't worry though, I won't stand at your front door with a picket sign or anything. To me complaints without actions are worthless. Instead of telling people how bad the world is think of some solutions, spread your ideas, listen to the ideas of others, and put forth the effort to make a positive change. I believe what I believe and I understand that some may agree or disagree. My job, as I see it, is to stand up for what I (and many others) believe in, and to never loose site of my goals. If you allow me to speak my opinion then I will afford you the same respect. Incase you're wondering, I fall under the bracket of Democratic Socialist. No, not a Nazi or a Communist. I'm the kinda' person that's into workers rights, elimination of private corporation, united communities, true democracy, and much more. I'm also a strict ANTI-RACIST. I've done more things in the way of subversive politics than a lot of people know. There is no reason to boast about it, because this isn't about personal accomplishment, it's about creating a better future for the people. Please don't judge me on the basis of my beliefs, for I would never do that to you. Come say hi, I'm open to everyone!
Lastly, I choose not to partake in drinking, smoking, or the use of drugs. It's something I do for myself and I'm not about to tell anyone else what they should do. The lifestyle I choose doesn't put me on a pedestal above anyone, because we're all in this together. It's my choice, my health, my life. I don't need X's on my hands to prove that.

Stop lights and metaphors.

What I want to say is there, but it evades me. So here's a metaphor:Imagine, if you will, sitting at a red light. It's on one of those lonely intersections that sees a car maybe once/twice a decade. T...

Everything's on.
