Well I would say first things first. I'm a guitar player. Anyone who knows me associates me with the guitar. I've been obsessed with it since I was a small child. There's something about it. I dont know if its the power , the volume , the idea of being in a band , or all of it together. But I know this it has lead my life and it has certainly served me well. It has taken me all over the world several times. First was with the almighty Zakk Wylde and BLS. I started as Zakks guitar tech and personal assistant. What a way to "cut your teeth". Then he took me out with Ozzy on the Ozzfest creating a job for me that really wasn't necessary just so I could see first hand what the "big time" was really like. Soon after that he gave me a Les Paul , out of his personal collection , that I still use as my main axe today. It's in almost all of the pictures you see me playing in. People don't normally do shit like this for other people but the Wylde family does. And this is only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to what Zakk and his wife have done for me. Buy the albums and go to the shows and know this Zakk really is the same off stage as he is on. A true guitar hero. I then did a brief stint as the guitar tech and second guitar player for George Lynch. That was really cool too because he has such a different approach. He was too cool for letting me get on stage with him. We toured with the king of neo-classical guitar Yngwie Malmsteen. What a ride that was.I also during all of this worked as a guitar technician for ESP guitars and I now currently work for Schecter guitars as a luthier.Having played in many bands during my teens and through my twenties I am now the guitar player for CROWNED BY FIRE. We recently landed a record deal with MOLTEN METAL PRODUCTIONS. We recorded our debut album PRONE TO DESTROY at Larione 10 studios in Florence Italy throughout the month of november. What a trip that was. It is to be released world wide sometime in the end of January 2009.I am also the proud parent of two beautiful children Marshall , and Alyssa Manning. I don't think they're going to have any problems gaining label attention quicker than most due to the fact they have that 'Us Versus Them' vibe going on that Guns N Roses gave off when they first hit the Sunset Strip, yet clearly back it up with serious musical prowess as the Gunners always did.
