hello cats,
i'm andi hill and if you don't know me where the hell have you been at? I've played drums my whole life - literally. i have an old photo of me with a snare drum around my kneck at 1 year old.
so i played around the uk a whole bunch in bands like catch22, vox populi, hang fire, and libertin' lips. around '89 i figured i have to be where the action is, so i packed my shit and headed to hollywood. hooked up with the babydolls which later became the astro-vamps.
after returning to england, i hooked up with steevi jaimz from tigertailz, and we played for about 4 years as jaimz gang. a few years later i found myself playing drums with germany's one and only glam-punkers hollywood teasze. this was an awesome period and is an un-finished chapter. so as teasze was on hold, i joined up with new york legend kevin k and was later joined by chris lakriz, my old bass playing buddy from hollywood teasze. also toured europe as part of the corner gang, featuring kevin k and freddy lynxx.
so, my musical ambitions right now are to write, rehearse and play with hollywood teasze. we're currently re-recording the teasze debut "glamdolls in toyland".we've got a new guitar player in the shape of MATZE. he's fitted in perfect and we've already played some killer shows, inc playing with glam legends hanoi rocks and the sweet. look out world.......TEASZE are back.
UPDATE
Recently i've also been playing as the new drummer with the Steevi Jaimz Band. Look out for the up-coming shows. Link to Steevi's myspace from my myspace or check-out steevijaimz.com Of course i'm still as commited as ever to Hollywood teasze. I figure i can give both bands the full attention they deserve. Classic gigs so far have included the Z-rock festival in the uk and the Skagerock, rock the boat festival, norway.
