I'd like to meet:

The Cosplay Zone; Who we are & what we do.. The short version,

We are a Cosplay Theatrical Group. Some of us are from the industry.. some of us are not. At the heart of the cosplay zone are the teachers.. who work with and train aspiring individuals in the various industry fields such as; Acting, Voice Over, Stage Management, Costuming, Video/filmography & photography. (aaaaaaand lots more.. even directing!) It costs nothing to be a member of the cosplay zone, but you must audition for the department(s) you are interested in. We love people with experience but we just as easily welcome people with none. First and foremost the cosplay zone is much like a job. It isn't there to just attend when you feel like it. We work very hard at everything we do year round. So many of it's members are highly committed and responsible individuals who've even given up some pretty nifty opportunities to remain in the group. Our main goal is to have fun and bring fun and enjoyable entertainment to everyone we perform for. That said.. On the outside of the cosplay zone we are a bunch of theatrical people, Who bring our own lighting, sound, and most of the stage with us! We can provide anything from short skits all the way up to full length Broadway type shows! and just about anything in-between. Performing however isn't where we stop. The Cosplay Zone also offers many panels and workshops, as well as some nifty games and events like "Cosplay Dodgeball," Things we also offer to conventions is our full availability, should a panelist 'not show' we can usually take over their panel for them on the fly. Even more.. We offer our PA system (with techie) to help run most audio needed events (Dances, Masquerades and so on.) Same goes for our lighting, we carry around anything from simple PAR 38 cans to full truss systems holding PAR 56 - PAR 64 cans, spot lights, strobes, even foggers. (with techie!) .. Anything that has to do with our equipment we send at least one techie with them. ..So stage lights, sound isn't enough? ..Then we also extend our videography sector. We carry around a Sony XV2100 mini DV camcorder capable of placing whatever we cover onto just about any format.

Simply put, The cosplay zone does a lotta fun silly stuff we think and hope you'll enjoy! You can find much more detailed information about us through all of our following pages. Get to know us each by looking over the Cast & Crew page or check out 'booking us' and click on any of our panel links to see an outline of what we cover in the panels and workshops. Looking to audition? Jet on over to our auditions section, it stays up to date with what we're currently looking for and what we require. Still want to know more? try going to "more then just backstage" where we explain a little more about what we do on a daily basis. Want to know even more?? Then drop us an e-mail or even a private message on our public forum.

Movies:

please forgive the audio/video mix as we are aware it is very off. however youtube remixed her audio/video, and there is nothing she or we can do about it, we apologize for this. It also seems like most digital cameras can't ever catch the ending or our skit. So once again the last line is cut out.
