Born in France in 1967. Age 7 I start piano lessons. Then I enter the Conservatory of music two years later to study percussion. At the age of 13 I became passionate about bass guitar. Self-taught, I enjoy playing various styles. But Funk, Blues and Soul always keep my heart goes on. In the recording studio I had to acquire precision and work on sound, working essentially on music for short films and adverts. Two years of study at the Conservatory of jazz with Yves Torchinsky and I discover the magic of the double-bass. I love to use it for some groovy lines. Always attached to the notion of diversity of musical styles I learned a lot in the proximity of world music's artists such as Diho (from Mayotte), Queen Etémé (from Cameroon), & Meïssa (from Senegal). Since 2001 I am currently touring with Eric Starczan, the BB King drummer Tony Coleman. & Nina Van Horn since 2007.
