TJ aka Tim Hatch is a Bass Player/Sound Engineer. Growing up in northern NSW, TJ had the best 1st bass teacher he could've asked for in a man by the name of John Helman, Putting him in good stead for his career ahead. Music has been his life since he could remember. Starting out playing in the Mullumbimby Primary School band and then the Mullumbimby High School Concert and Stage Band, TJ gained a steady foundation in theory and reading, playing in many school performances and major productions such as "Northern Satrs - Under the Big Top". He also attended both regional and state music camps, introducing him to many other musicians and widening his exposure to music. He then attended the Gold Coast Conservatorium, Griffith University, studying a Bachelor of Popular Music, where he matured into a professional session and performing musician and turned his interest in music technology into a love of sound engineering and production. During this time, TJ also networked his way into the South-east QLD music industry gaining the respect and guidance from many accomplished musicians such as Jose McLaughlin (bass player for "Jerry and the Pacemakers"), Damian Barnard, Don Leblar and many more. TJ has played for a very wide range of musicians and groups form a huge range of styles such as; folk/roots artist - Chris Mallory, acoustic/folk/country artist - Kim Sheehy, accoustic/pop song writer - Dali Srhoj, country/blues cover group - the Thor Phillips Band, pop artist - Jess Mcloughlin, funky rnb/soul covers group - Tambu and soul/funk/hiphop covers band - Groovix Cube. As a sound engineer/producer he has refined his skills, recording many of his own collaborations as well as recording many projects for several artists/groups such as; The Seks - Demo, Dali Srhoj - Daydreamer (demo), Kim Sheehy - EP. He is currently in pre-production for an album with songwriter, Ben Hooper to be released later in the year.For a gig, session or recording project,
