About Me

Maya Vada was the name used to represent the long-lasting creative partnership between Janalee Swain and Brother's - Daniel and Ryan Heneghan. The groups recent lineup included long-time member, Kevin Coyne on Bass, Frank Clayton on Sax, and Randolph Riback on percussion. Past members include John Gorr (Bass), Reed Walker (Percussion), and Tony Chudyk (Bass). In April of 2007 it was announced that founding member and creative driving force of the group, Janalee Swain, had decided to leave. It was a heart breaking decision but members Daniel and Ryan understood it had to be made. This past year has been a great time for the group. We were able to play a handful of shows around the Chicago area, sharing out vision with music fans alike. From the beginning our goal has always been to progress the state of popular and underground music past what you normally hear on the radio. With Janalee's jazz background, we were able to fuse a more complex idea of Rock music with elements of Afro-beat, and Latin rhythms. Each member contributed a significant amount and as a whole we were able to get our message across to those willing to listen. We want to thank everyone for supporting us over the years and especially those who came out to catch our sets. You will all be remember for the rest of our lives.I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4 .. width="425" height="350"msprm name="movie" v
