Stacked in bulk to fill your need
With pencil tattoos that scar our only memories
Of the people we used to be
The ink pens flood the floors in black and blue,
We should stop and take a look
Then maybe we’ll know what we have to do,
Let’s see if we can write a book?
Shedding off these layers and writing our lives down
Seems to help us stand and help us not to drown
Writing down these words makes a world of difference
But in the end I’m missing something
Something in the reference
Putting down the books and just walking far away
Makes the words that we have written start to fade away
A cloud of wrinkled papers blow in against our back
