MIGGIE Motorsports introduced a Trophy Truck to the off-road racing circuit In 2004. Prior to this addition, MIGGIE Motorsports ran a Class 5 unlimited car for over ten years. MIGGIE Motorsports Race Team has won numerous times, receiving many accolades from fellow competitors. Our experienced and highly qualified team has what it takes to be a success.
MIGGIE Motorsports has combined the driving talent of five-time Baja winner Michael Jakobson with the coordination skill of Todd Sanderson in a configuration that proves to be extremely successful in the off-road circuits. A second Trophy Truck is currently under construction. This truck will be driven by Michael’s 15 year old son, Skyler. A father and son both competing in the same circuit is sure to be a crowd pleaser. With the added support of various team members, MIGGIE Motorsports is looking forward to some serious racing.
In the 2004 season, Team MIGGIE came in 7th at the Laughlin Desert Challenge, 11th in the Tecate SCORE San Felipe 250 and 10th in the Tecate SCORE Baja 500. In 2005, Team MIGGIE finished 10th for the season: 12th at the Laughlin SCORE Desert Challenge, 3rd in the Tecate SCORE San Felipe 250, 9th in the Tecate SCORE Baja 500, and 12th in the SCORE Las Vegas Primm 300. For the upcoming 2007 season, we plan on placing even higher in the rankings. With the perseverance and positive attitude that is the core of the MIGGIE Motorsports Race TEAM, we are heading to the top!
