the weakerthans is jody's pick for the imaginary vfest toronto island award for 2008. there's something about a sunday afternoon, when you are in the right mood and are the right amount of not quite sober and a lyrically genius band takes the stage. the bass takes control of your heartbeat and the music takes control of your mind to create an intensely perfect moment in time.

Movies:

"Coral Reef Adventure" (2003). if you have ever taken a breath underwater, you will love and appreciate this movie.
