I have lived and did business in Africa for two years. I also lived and did business in the Carribbean for over 12 years. My son was born in Jamaica. However I was born and raised in Santa Monica, California. I was a student at San Francisco State College during the height of the Black Student movement. I pride myself in being a "Social Change Agent". My travels, activism and education has led me to regain our traditional African practices. Those secrets that the europeans took away from us and gave us their world views and beliefs. Honoring our Ancestors is the Power that they took from us. When you reclaim that knowledge you will take back the POWER.I am learning Printmaking, Digital Photography. I am developing a line of greeting cards using the 16 Odus of Ifa. I hope that I will have a quality product by the end of this year. I also make All Soy Candles. I love using my hands and my mind to produce items that can be used by myself and others.
