Thank you to everyone (SERIOUSLY!) who voted their butts off for me. 66% of the votes were for me! 29,000(+) votes in just two days! How crazy is that! The other nominee had like 20,000 votes. I mean, even if I didn't win, I would be so grateful knowing that people would do this for me. Thanks to all my family, friends, and viewers that enjoyed the silly video. Wow! I'm still in total shock! When JoeBreezy called me and said "Unfortunately..." I didn't know I was on the air. Every day is a new and exciting day for me. Days like this create memories worth living for. My life has taken me on a journey that i could have never imagined. I think I worked hard enough to get where I am today, and I plan to work even harder. I have BIG dreams that motivate me to do my best. In fact, I'm content on how things are going right now. I enjoy living day by day & just looking forward to the next. I keep a balance between school and my social life, I know when I need to be serious and when I can party my heart out. I pretty much know what I want in life. But things can change, and I probably want more later on. Some days can be a bit t w i s t e d & confusing with the ohhhh-sooo-many "it happened to me" type of moments, however I still manage to make things worthwhile. My Tita told me "no matter how bad a situation turns out...there will ALWAYS be something BEAUTIFUL that will come out of it." & you know what?! It's true. For every bad thing comes something good. Well, I'm at that stage in my life where I'm recognizing my true friendships with people, the ones who will always matter, who does matter and who never did matter. In fact, the people from MY past, there's a reason why they didn't make it to my future. I only care for those who care enough to care for me and I'm happy with that. I've learned that some friendships grow apart & if it happens...it happens. After high school, you know who your TRUE friends are and those are the ones that will be by your side forever. At age 21, I've grown in such a way that I'm so grateful that God has been here with me. I consider myself to be a pretty understanding and open minded person. I came into this world on february 5th, an Aquarius baby. I'm enjoying youngn' years and doing things that I love to do. But HEY I don't always get the things that I want & I find that o.k. I have a lot of Filipino blood in me and I understand Tagalog, but cant speak it. My mother gets on my case about that all the time. I was born and raised in Santa Clara, a little town in the Bay Area. It will always be HOME to me. I love it here (I'm not lying) and I will always be a CALIFORNIA girl, I can't imagine myself anywhere else. I loooveee the sunshine & the cool breeze. What more can you ask for? Maybe some h o t t guys for my sexy girls. Haha. So where to begin, let me start off by saying...my childhood was different compared to others. Though at times it was difficult, I'm glad how everything turned out for my family & I. As years went by, I learned to LOVE me for ME. I've been able to accept who I am and the mistakes I've done which has made me a better person today.

My family is one of those fun-loving types. They're the absolute best! I still live with my mom, brother & boyfriend, however its great! Free food & that's always a plus ;] I have been truly blessed with great people in my life. I come from a BIIIIGGGGG family with a lot of great stories, and I couldn't appreciate them enough. My family has become one of my best friends these past years & it's a FABULOUS feeling to be so close. I know I can always count on them. My older brothers and sisters have looked out for me for so long. I'm the BABY of course! They're all so successful (even if they don't believe that they are) and I hope one day to be like them. I have 3 nephews and 2 nieces that I wish I can see every day. They're growing so fast. I admire all of my cousins, aunts, uncles, and godparents; I can't live without them either! It may sound that I am over exaggerating, but I'm not. My family is truly great :)

I never realized how rare love is until I met Larry. I l o v e my boyfriend of 3 years, technically 4 years (Larry would say) he's amazing. We're simply CrAzY about each other, even when we were just dating for the first 6 months. We can't go a day without each other. I knew our love would last forever. He's the light of my life, one of my BESTEST friends ever. I love everything about him (ok, mostly everything lol). I have to admit, I get spoiled by him a lot. Haha. He does everything he can to make me h a p p y. Never did we ever think that we would be where we are now. Our relationship is great & growing! I'm at that point where i am REALLY confident with our relationship. It's a nice feeling. Even though we were brought up differently, we fit perfectly together. At every bad turn we make or if something horrible comes our way, we can work together and know that everything will be alright. Its funny because I pretty much settled down at a young age. But I am happy I can still go out and have fun and know that Larry loves me everyday without any worries. As of right now, I live in a cute little fairytale that every woman dreams about. We have arguments now & then, but we always pull through. Even the BIGGER arguments bring us closer. He tells me, "if we can make it through THIS, we can make it through ANYTHING" I'm glad he is part of my life, sharing every crazy moment with me. Plus, he deals with all my mood swings. And what my girl MARIAH says "when it's FOR REAL...it's FOREVER!" & how can I forget our cute little animal. We have a long-haired teddy bear hamster named LIL BOMBA, who loves to run around in his wheel and pee everywhere. He's just like Larry, but hairy. Each day I'm with Larry, I've recognize more and more b e a u t i f u l things around me ♥ I am so lucky to have him.

I treasure my friendships w/ my friends because it's so rare nowadays. I thank Him everyday for giving me such wonderful friends. I have so many fond moments with all of em. They comfort me in great ways like no other. In addition, they accept me for ME. Unfortunately, I don't get to see them as often as I would like to, but without them...I wouldn't be complete. I have a LONG LIFE ahead of me and I'm grateful to have my boyfriend, family, and friends by my side.

Currently, I am a senior at SAN JOSE STATE. I'm doing school full-time & I can't wait to graduate in 2008. I am a SOCIAL WORK major and decided to stay back an extra semester to double minor in gerontology and atypical child studies. I remember just wanting to finish school as fast as I can, but now that I look back at things, I wish I can just take it slow. I'm enjoying life right now and I'm still growing. But other than that, school is great, stressful, and fulfilling. SJSU is not as bad as every one thinks it is. Once I graduate and take a few years off, then I want to work on my masters in either social work or counseling. I am currently an inclusion facilitator and support counselor for ASPIRA, I'm on my FOURTH case this year. A lot of people ask me what exactly do i do...its hard to explain. It's a lot of hard work at times and everyday is a challenge. But everything I do is worth it for these kids! The majority of the children in our program have Autism (ASD). Once Autism enters one's life, it lasts throughout his or her lifetime. ASD causes children to experience the world differently from the way most kids do. They have a hard time understanding our world and communicating with others. Unfortunately the cause is unknown and there is no cure, but step by step we help these children grow and strengthen their weaknesses. Experts estimate that 3 to 6 children out of every 1,000 will have autism. Males are 4 times more likely to have autism than females. My job is definitely life altering and I am proud to say that I am interning as a Social Work at Aspira for a year during my senior year in college. Wish me luck! In addition, I occasionally babysit two families. One family consists of three adorable children, a 2-year-old, 5-year-old, and 7-year-old & the second family consists of two amazing children, a 8-year-old and 6-year-old. My initial goal, is to make a few changes in the world. It may sound cheesy, but there's a lot of things people overlook at. In the long run I'm going to write a children's book! It is something I wanted to do since I was little. My other goals I want to pursue are my little secrets. Hehe. Well, my days are practically full of school, even OVER the summer. But freetime...I LOVE TO GO OUT & HAVE SOME FUN! haha. PARTIES I can do, though I dont need it to have fun all the time. There's WAY MORE in life than just partying every night. So if I'm not doing that, then I do my other interests. I'm usually down to do whatever, up to a certain extent. In addition, I like to be at home reading a good book or watching a movie. My home is one of the places I feel safe. You can say I'm a SWEET, SiLLY GAL, however I can get real moody & stubborn at certain occasions. I'm like a BIG KID at heart w/ a motherly-instinct. I'm full of c o l o r. Mostly green, teal or pink. I'm pretty outgoing, but I'm really shy and I'm fine with that. I'm quiet too and really focused when it comes to my education. I enjoy my spiritual side. I was born a Catholic, but I don't practice it often. I'm a forgivable person, but I think I forgive too easy. So I'm trying to change that. I'm easy to please. Overall, college life is going well. Life can't get more real than that. I love it. Even when things get rough, i can overcome it. I want to see the WORLD...discover new things, and recover from my past. I think I've GROWN so much. I think it is really important for individuals to achieve their goals and do what they love to do. When an opportunity comes your way, just take it! I promise you, it will only come once. Life is not about where you end up, it's about your journey and what you make of it!
