Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, he has allowed his West coast roots to fuze with the Midwest influence creating a unique sound apealing to many. Growing up he has been exposed to the world of hustling, stick ups, religion, and many cultures giving him a universal view on life, never running out of stories or things to talk about. "I hope to reach the world with my music. It is more than just about money with me," says P.O.P.E. "I'm in this business for the longevity. I believe if I stay true to myself, I'll be around a long time. Everything i talk about I have personally experienced, plus I am a lyricist and a producer, so I can't help but to think that gives me an edge over a lotta of rappers." After being M.I.A. for a minute P.O.P.E. has directed his focus back on music. A self made entreprenuer, P.O.P.E. is poised to make a big impact on tha worldwide music scene in 2008.
