Real Love Records is an independent music label that emphasizes community and love above all else. Real Love Records recording studio is at Sculpterra Winery in beautiful Paso Robles, the online store is managed out of San Luis Obispo. Real Love Records was founded in the winter of 2005 when friends Kevin Coons and Paul Frankel recorded Andy Tobey’s Paso Robles band MirrorWar and decided to release the album ‘this new day brings new life’ under their own name. Real Love released the MirrorWar CD early in 2006 and then followed by two summer releases of Kevin Coon's band Candle and Ross Major’s band Iamb. In 2007 Real Love Records released a total of four CDs, including the long-awaited Kapiano full-length along with a MirrorWar EP, an Elle Moss full length and a 7’’. In 2008 Real Love had a historic release, candle-miles and miles and miles. This album featured over 9 musicians recording to the wide array of songs. The album has be highly acclaimed as the best real love release to date! 2008 also brought the release of Kapiano second release, a split CD with San Diego band Foreign Loren. From the early beginnings in 2005 to the present day, Real Love has had 9 official releases. July of 2007 marked the first vinyl release made by real love records in the Iamb/Candle Vinyl release entitled' come back home.' The record label has also put together four state wide and out of state tours which have included: Elle Moss/Candle California Tour December/January 06/07; Kapiano/Iamb West Coast Tour (LA-Seattle) May 07, and Candle/Iamb California tour July/August 07, and Candle March 2008. Real Love is currently preparing for the biggest tour yet, Candle's "miles and miles acorss America tour," which will take Candle from California to New York and back.
