About Me

Artifact was originally formed in the late summer of 2005 by Ton Hessels and Robert Weterings.Mylene van den Weijer and Bart Akkermans made the band complete. In a year, Artifact has grown to be a promising gothic metalact.Due to personnel problems, they are currently playing covers to be able to play live. Those are mostly covers of the Finnish band Nightwish.But Artifact is also working on their own songs, a challenging, but promising mix of gothic metal, classical influences and progressive input,all topped with the beautiful, yet powerful voice of Mylene.The year 2007 will be a year in which Artifact wants to play a lot of live gigs and in which they will create the material for their debut album.
