About Me

I am English and was born and brought up in The Fens, near The Wash, where my father was raised. My mother hailed from The Fylde and I go there when I get the chance.I've been married to Anne since 1968 and we have a daughter, Jenine, and a son, Adrian and we have three granddaughters, Gemma, Laura and Roxanne.I am a factory chargehand and in my spare time I help Anne to care for my mother, who now needs a lot of attention. Sadly, that last sentence no longer applies. After years of being cared for by Anne and me, because she had dementia, Mother died on Boxing Day, 2008. We have our freedom again, but the cost was too high.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Buzz Aldrin...who should have been the first man on the moon, instead of Neil Armstrong.

The Third Of Five Songs That Changed My Life

The Second Of Five Songs That Changed My Life.

Hawkwind on tv

So, at last a tv documentary about Hawkwind...and not before time. The hour-long show was hardly enough to scratch the surface, but what a delight to see such things as Dave Brock busking in his pre-H...
