.It all started back in 1999 at a local College where SouljahH & Whis met, and were doing a music course. They would play their beats to each other and criticize were possible. Driven by the same ambition and coming from similar backgrounds the exchange of musical ideas made them work together to form a production duo which they later named Astronotes,both who are of African origin and are based in London, U.K.
On their rep list, they have managed to work with some talented acts over the years that slowly infiltrated the underground scene, Hamdan of Abri; a sensational soulful singer from Dubai, Ark.S a rapper by reputation and skills on the mic,Traffic,one mean skillfully talented rapper to mention just but a few.With the vast change in technology AstroNotes have found the perfect blend of both hardware and software.Mastering Steinberg's Cubase,Apple's Emargic Logic Pro,DigiDesign Protools,the Akai's MPC range,the Yamaha Motif ES and XS Ranges,the Korg Triton Range Synths,the Roland XV Range Synths.You can be guaranteed that their audio/midi production is off the hook at such a young age.
Astronotes are heavily influenced by great producers such as Dr. Dre, Rocwilder, Havoc, Marley Marl, Rick Rubin, The Neptunes and many more. Being influenced by these producers, they have taken a piece of each of the Producers styles and have crafted their own unique style.
