Mono his real name Luciano Mattioli. Started listening to music at a young age. Around the age of 13 he fell in love with HipHop. Inspired by Rap music around the 90's as Wu Tang Clan , Big L , Krs One , Rakim and many more, he started producing and writing rhymes himself. Working on his own tracks and recordings he was starting early with producing rugged beats. In ‘97 he jumped on stage and he was ready to do some shows and open mics. At that time he was also working with other local mc’s that were doing the same thing. 2001 was a hard year after a series of emotional pitfalls from relationships to the lost of his Mother. He took a little break and continued to work on his rhyming and producing skills. This was his method to get away from the pain. Most of the time he was working together with other experienced musicians, and Learned a lot of recording , sampling and the basic of music. He was ready to get in the lab, and started with a long episode of beats. As time went on.. producing became the main focus, and he was gettin guitar lessons from a good friend. Gettin’ deeper into making live music his music was turning to another side . ‘’ I was doing my own thing. I was making music what was sounding completly diffrent from the rest, i needed something new to put my emotion in and i was feelin the combination of raw beats with live music’.HipHop music today is changed .I am all about that 90’s hiphop so as underground artist my thing is to stay real and make good music were people can hear that it’s made with love’’ Explains Mono. He is now working for a couple of years with Mr.Morbid and if you search the web deffiently you gonna find some info. 2004 they joined forces and they dropped some sick rugged tracks like Faces of death, Morbid Philosophies and many more. Starting up with a Soundclick page it was going fast. In no time they had fans from all around the world and their name was out there.Bringing out Dead babies e.p., The Reaper, Global Sickness e.p. and doing side projects with Al’tarba, Droogz Brigade, CeSektion, Double Couzi, Judge Cryptic, Bloodline and more. Mono made his name as underground hiphop artist. ’But its time to move on,’ says Mono. 2006 Mr.Morbid and Mono decided to join forces under the name II Man Army. An artist/group and production team formed by two artists. Mr.Morbid the lyrical one of the group and MC/Producer Mono the one behind beats and productions. Together they form a combination of individual talent and skills. They both are in the game for 10 years now and they’re ready to make some moves. Now working on tracks sounding from daily struggles to worlds politics. II Man Army is ready to hit ya people with some rugged underground hiphop and If you think that is all…No. Mono is also working on his solo project. Trying to keep his head above hiphop waters. He is now approaching the beginning of something new. During his entire journey, he has still one goal in mind to push HipHop forward, and make good Music.
