Band Members: The Saboteurs, playing country/bluesy/rock n' rolly stuff: me on vox & 2nd. guitar, Will Lunn (ex The Girls, The Hoax & others) on drums, Steve Hurd on bass (played with many of the old blues masters in the old days!) & sometimes my son Jack Loudoun (The Layabouts) on bass when Steve can't make it! On lead guitar often Paul Hartshorn, other times anyone who can make the gig - we've got many fine guitar players round this area to choose from! The Critters, playing similar but more organic, funky/ska-ish stuff: me on vox & 2nd. acoustic guitar, Griff Daniels on vox & 1st. acoustic guitar, Nikki Mascall on vox & acoustic guitar (these 3 also are The Mini-Skeeters), Blair Keltie on percussion, Steve Hurd on acoustic bass (the 5 of us were, with Paul Hartshorn, The Skeeters), Mike Peake on trumpet & flugelhorn & Simon (got a mental blank on his surname - sorry Simon!) on sax. The Long Shots, a straight reggae band: me on 2nd. guitar & 2nd. vox, Troy Ellis (yes, Alton Ellis' son!) on vox, John "Gypie" Mayo (yes, that one! ex Yardbirds, Dr. Feegood etc.), Dave Aaronson on bass & Tim Poulson on drums. The Scratch Band, playing more straight bluesy/country stuff: me on vox & 2nd. guitar, Steve Payne (who's played with everybody!) on 1st. guitar, Larry Baker on bass & Will Lunn on drums.
