About Me

I am a symmetrical guy who moved to Denver in July from Portland, Oregon (p-town rocks!) after completing chiropractic college. That's right, there's letters behind my name ~ certified smart guy. In high school I was never voted most likely to kick ass, but I do. I lived in Europe for 5 years before that. I grew up in Iowa before that. I was born before that...The best memories of my life are on stage. I have sung in rock bands for about 10 years... always looking to jam! I have sung in bands in Germany, and Portland Oregon. I am in two projects here in Denver - Kings on the Outside (we just made the finals for the Battle of the bands, and are currently recording), and Man in the Box - an Alice in Chains Tribute Band! Music:

Where do I start? I grew up with buttrock! G-N-R, Poison, and other such power ballad producers. So sometimes I secretly listen to it when no one else is around!I then grew to love grunge, so I still love Alice in Chains, STP, Nirvana, Soundgarden- stuff like that. This had a huge influence on making me want to be a musician in a band...Now I'm into a little of everything. I like Story of the Year, Chevelle, Trust Company, Deftones, Perfect Circle, Type O Negative, Filter, Sevendust, the Used, David Gray, Michael Jackson, Johnny Cash, techno, the Crystal Method, Cake, geez... what else?

Movies:

I love horror movies! House of 1000 corpses, Event Horizon, etc. I also like movies like Requiem for a Dream, the Basketball Diaries, Clerks, um, and B rated Sundance movie festival movies!

Books:

Deam Koontz, Edgar Allen Poe... Looking forward to reading again now that I'm done with school...

Heroes:

These have changed throughout my life. I guess whoever makes it all the way through...
