The Will Freed Band plays as a solo, duo, and band accoustic act all throughout Ohio. The Will Freed Band just wrapped up a busy summer, gaining popularity and opening for National acts such as Hinder, Papa Roach, BuckCherry, and John Popper of Blues Traveler. Will Freed is a 24 year-old singer/songwriter who grew up in West Virginia. Making his way to the Kansas City music circuit. Will began playing for a living at an early age. With the release of his debut album with the band, Will has developed his own style, pleasing voice, and skillful harmnonica and guitar playing. He now lives in Columbus.
Kevin Ashba is a 25 year old musician who grew up in Wapakoneta, OH and currenty resides in Columbus. He is working on his Masters Degree from The Ohio State University, while playing with the band. Aside from writing and producing his own music, Kevin plays piano/keyboards and sings in Will Freed Band.
Shane Roney is a 33 year old percussionist in The Will Freed Band. He teaches the drum line at Shawnee High School in Lima, OH. He has been playing professionally for 15 years and currently lives in Lima.
