Let's see, who am I? I thought I knew the answer several times throughout my twenties, but now that I am in my early thirties, I think I have a better conclusion, though not the final answer. I am an artist, originally wanted to be a Disney animator and a comic illustrator. I spent most of my childhood and high school life watching cartoons, getting inspired to create whole worlds of fantasy and adventure, and then I went to college. Pratt Institute in Brooklyn showed me a darker side to art, and I started to incorporate violence into my artwork, but only for a short Gothic period of my life. At the time I was in college, I was head over heels for someone, and after she departed, I decided to change my career goals and move to Florida. A year in Florida taught me independence and a new form of expression, makeup effects. I started my career as a SFX artist in 1995, and moved back home to NYC, where I have been for the past 12 years working in the film industry.My makeup vocation has allowed me to travel, meet and love interesting people, be on TV more than I should be allowed, and create my own company, Demonic Pumpkins FX. I am sarcastic in ways, annoying in others, have a direct sense of what I want, and above all, love to make people laugh. I am loving to the right people, vindictive to the bad ones, and don't tread on anyone's rights or beliefs.Travel, movies, television, computers, games, driving, gambling, partying, dancing, bowling, reading, sculpting, painting, creating, and listening to my iPod are the things I enjoy and exploit as much as I can. I am a Libra, thus, an open book, hate to lie even when I have to, and need to stop smoking. What else can I say about myself, Im sure I will come up with more later.
