Myspace Backgrounds****************************************I am a single mom to three awesome kids, James (18), Erik (16), and Caitlyn (13). James is now a Private in the US Army!!! Erik is preparing to earn his Eagle Scout. Catie is doing amazing with everything she has been through health wise. I am truly blessed. I am a good person that has made mistakes (some of which are friggin huge) and I have made some really rotten choices. But of course I have made quite a few good ones. All of which make up, me. I am starting over in life. I am looking forward to moving on and finally living life for ME (and my kids too of course). I am finally realizing the meaning to the saying "To thine own self be true" and I am excited about starting on this new journey. I have learned that all I can control and change is me, that I always have a choice and that no one can control me unless I allow them to. How can I expect someone else to make me happy when I do not know myself what makes me happy? Therefore I am taking this time to figure that out.

Someone that enjoys life. Someone that when I am with them, I feel good. Someone that gives as much as they take. Someone that can handle the bad stuff as well as the good stuff. A man that is open and honest and has the ability to share his heart. Someone that I could get lost in conversation with for hours or just snuggle quietly and watch a movie. Someone that believes in me and themselves. Someone that is mature and not spiteful. Someone that can take my breath away (without putting a pillow over my face). Someone I can open my heart to. Someone who genuinely cares about my well being. Someone that accepts me for who I am, even the parts of me that he cannot understand. Someone I can care for and accept his strengths, weaknesses and flaws. Someone I can trust. Someone who follows through on his words, his actions reflect his promises. I'm not looking for perfection - it doesn't exist. I'm not looking for my knight in shining armor - he has come already and is now gone, he served his purpose in my life and I will never forget him. I am looking for someone to laugh with, cuddle with, find comfort with, to support and to lean on for support. Someone that I enjoy doing the little things for, but I also get the little things in return as well. Someone that takes the time to really know me. My someone that God has hand picked for me - when I am ready - that is who I need. That is who I would like to meet.
