I play and sing all types of music, especially hard rock. It all started back in 1978 when I went to see my first concert. Front row, for one of the best Canadian bands back in the day, PRISM. Three years later, I was playing in my first band. A Van Halen type cover band that really kicked ass (for a bunch of 17 year olds and remains to this day the best band I was ever in*** Check out the guitar player and founder of our band back then, who now forms "B-MONSTER" on my friends list and our singer, Stewart from GODS OF THE RADIO (***). 5 years later, I was on the road as a bass player/ Singer in various 80's hair bands.
Throughout all the girls, drinks, and starvation that followed, I encountered various musicians, bands, and weird situations and finished up in a local hard rock cover band called BIG ROCK UNIT (Hence my name). Today, I collaborate writing songs over the 'net with a guitar player from New Jersey, USA (RICH from CHAINS OF FURY) and together we write songs as "SONIC ASYLUM". *Check out one of the songs we wrote on the music player to the left.* or you can click on the evil looking clown (Sonic Asylum) in my friends links and it will take you to our original songs!
In the 25+ years of singing, playing bass, touring, and recording, I've learned a thing or two. I realize I still love singing and performing and it remains, outside of my family, my passion and reason for living. Every day, I like hearing from and learning about different producers, engineers, musicians, and people from all walks of life in this wild and crazy business. So, go ahead and drop me a line.
