Yes. Oh...you want more than that... Metallica, The Beatles, Linkin Park, Evanescense, Acappella, Disturbed, Crossfade, System of a Down, Watershed Worship, Seventh Angel, Aerosmith, Rob Zombie (yes... I admit it), Type O Negative, Snow Patrol, Hoobstank, Green Day, Slipknot, The Cure, Three Days Grace, Papa Roach, Muse, KoRn, Staind, Sum41, U2, and... myself. (Yes... I actually love listening to my own music. Vain? Not really.)
Kill Bill Vol 1 & 2, Sin City, The Ring (NOT the Ring Two!), Dawn of the Dead, any Nightmare on Elm Street film (even the ones that suck, sadly...), Lord of the Rings, The Matrix (even the ones that "suck", sadly...), Star Wars (even the ones that "suck"...is there a pattern here?), Harry Potter, Back to the Future, Requiem for a Dream, Assassins (not the Stallone/Banderas version), Bay Raven, Salvation (lol), Ordinary People (not the version that Bette Midler's in), O Brother Where Art Thou, Kevin Smith films, El Mariachi films, Pulp Fiction, O, Resident Evil (both of them)...I like all kinds of movies. It takes a lot for me to dislike a movie. If they entertain me (in one way or another), I like them...no matter how much they may suck. Besides...aren't movies for entertainment? ...What?... You mean movies are made for the sole purpose of impressing people both intellectually and visually with witty dialogue, political agendas and Michael Bay-style camera work?Sorry... I guess I misunderstood...
Six months ago, my answer would have been: Friends, The Cosby Show & American Idol.Now... my answer is: Friends, The Cosby Show, American Idol, Everybody Loves Raymond, Family Guy, That '70s Show, Malcolm In The Middle...Let's face it. I'm getting older. Enter more TV. Now I just need a newspaper and a half-used cigar.
The only books I've read for pleasure in the last 5 years are the Harry Potter books and "The Cobra Event" by Richard Preston (a viral bomb book that's scary as hell).
Robert Rodriguez and Quentin Tarentino... for they both entered the industry in non-traditional ways and make great (yet highly "epic" and unrealistic) films...
