Nicholas Lawrence

Nicholas Lawrence was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. After receiving his Bachelors and Masters degrees in music composition from the University of North Texas, Nicholas moved to Los Angeles where he was accepted into the University of Southern California's Scoring for Motion Pictures and Television Advanced Studies program. There he studied with film scoring legends Leonard Rosenman (Rebel Without a Cause), David Raksin (Laura), and Elmer Bernstein (To Kill a Mockingbird), as well as other composers currently working in the film music industry, such as Christopher Young (Spiderman 3). Nicholas currently writes for both concert and film, conducting live performances and recording sessions of his music.
