It's tough to see new movies here in Korea... they have 'em, but they're a ways away from where I am (and, of course, not always in English). I did just see "Spider-Man 3," but I wasn't impressed (see blog). In the past, I have enjoyed a lot of movies, and the only ones that spring immediately to mind are: Benigni's "Life is Beautiful"; "Reign Over Me"; "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest"; the first three "Star Wars" films to be released; "The Godfather (I and II)"; "To Kill a Mockingbird"; "Annie Hall"; "Tootsie"; "Taxi Driver"; and "Coffee and Cigarettes." There are hundreds of others, but who has the time?
SNL; The Daily Show; The Colbert Report; Letterman; Monk; House; The Venture Brothers; The Simpsons; Family Guy. I miss them here in Korea. We get Leno and Letterman (and sometimes Family Guy) on the Armed Forces Network, but any of the others... send links, downloads, or DVDs!!!
Ayn Rand's "Atlas Shrugged" and "The Fountainhead"; Haruki Murakami's "A Wild Sheep Chase"; Thomas Pynchon's "The Crying of Lot 49"; Chuck Palahniuk's "Lullaby" and "Choke"; Kurt Vonnegut's "Cat's Cradle" and "Breakfast of Champions"; Jim Marrs's "Rule By Secrecy"; Anything by Robert Anton Wilson or Douglas Adams; Seuss' "Horton Hears a Who"
Bat-Man; The Captain of The-Captain-and-Teneil fame; Gavin Macleod; Lise Meitner
