Growing up watching his younger brother create beats on his keyboard, Grynch was inspired to make music too. Very much influenced by his brother’s music, making beats and rapping soon became second nature to him. That was the beginning of his musical journey to the “Northside†and Grynch soon came to be known as G – Jus G.Through high times and tragedy, G found an outlet to express himself and to reflect on his world. In songs like “Northside Grammer†and “N.E.W.S†represents where he’s from. When asked what his sound is, G says “It’s Northside – it’s just Northside – it is what it isâ€. Combining his life experiences and a little Crunk appeal, G delivers rhymes with a flow all his own over his own hot beats. G’s approach to the music game comes across in his sound – hype yet laidback and confident in his skills. Under it all, is the determination to make music that will make a lasting impression - the same kind of impression his younger brother had made on him.
Having appeared on various 43rd Entertainment mix tapes and getting radio play in the South, G is more eager than ever to bring his talent to the forefront. In the studio on the regular, making beats for himself and others, and making his stage presence known, Jus G is showing out. Asserting himself through his craft, G is representing Hip Hop for his hood and beyond.
